Q&A

2024-04-01 9.00 David Dunlap/Joe Reese/JB Nicholson Q&A Session A

Q6. Inheriting the kingdom:  is that another way of stating salvation or is it separate from salvation, in other words does it come after, based on rewards & or related to the crowns?

Starting at Video Track 05:20   |   Comment by JB Nicholson – Resources ReferencedQ7. During the tribulation period will any Jews who have not made it back to Israel (or don’t dwell in Israel) will they be saved or will they stay in unbelief?
Starting at Video Track 09:10     |    Q. answered by David DunlapQ8. John 5:28-29 talks about an hour where there will be a resurrection of life for those who did good deeds and a resurrection of judgment for those who committed evil deeds. Both resurrections will take place in the same hour. This seems to contradict a secret resurrection of believing dead only in 1 Thessalonians 4 and in Revelation 20:4-5, the first resurrection for believers only.

Also, in Matthew 13:30 in the parable of the tares among the wheat, both the tares (sons of the evil one; 13:38) and the wheat (sons of the kingdom; 13:38) are harvested at the same harvest. The tares are reaped before the wheat. Unbelievers are reaped before believers. Jesus explains this parable in 13:36-43 where the harvest takes place at the end of the age. Revelation 14:14-20 describes the same event, focusing just on the sons of the evil one.

Q9. What is the meaning of Matthew 12:7    9:13?
Starting at Video Track 39:40  | Q. answered by JB Nicholson – Mercy, not Sacrifice

Q10. What is the difference between the tree of life Gen 3:22, Rev 22 :14, Rev 2:7 and the bread of life? John 6:35, John 6:47,48.
Starting at Video Track 46:45  | Q. answered by JB Nicholson

Q11. Each of the ideas that the rapture will occur before the tribulation, after it, or even not occur at all have their proponents quote various Bible verses but I have not heard reference made to Matthew 16:23 as support for a pre-Tribulation rapture.  In other words, since there are millions of Christians currently on Earth and thousands of us might identify who the Anti-Christ is before he makes himself known and dozens of those who do might actually attempt to assassinate the Anti-Christ in order to stop the terrible things that he will do maybe God will rapture all of us before that can happen simply to ensure that His plans proceed unhindered.  What are your thoughts?

Starting at Video Track 59:05     |     Comment by JB Nicholson – Many Anti-Christs

Q12. John 8:44 How do I understand Jesus saying Israelites are “of your father the devil”?

Q&A

2024-04-01 9.00 David Dunlap/Joe Reese/JB Nicholson Q&A Session B

Questions 1-5 pertaining dating and marriage

  1. Can believers date non-believers? The non-believers mentioned here are those who have not yet believed (They may or may not believe in the future.).
  2. If a non-believer now expresses that he or she will believe in the future, can they continue to date?
  3. If a believer is already dating a non-believer and has reached the stage of discussing marriage, what should parents do?
  4. In Chinese culture, the marriage of two people is also the marriage of two families. When two believers get married, the elders who have not believed in the family interfere with the family life of the two believers. How should they deal with it?
  5. There are less brothers than sisters, and even fewer like-minded. Do most sisters have to be single?

Starting at Video track from 1:20 (to 27:30)  | Q1 through Q5 answered by Joe Reese

13. Rev. 2:9; 3:9 Who are these Jews of the synagogue of Satan who say they are and are not in the light of Israel identity?
Starting at Video Track 29:14     |     Q. answered by JB Nicholson

14. How are we to respond to the current evil age where anti-Christian values are being propagated? Are we to stand back and not do anything? Why is the Church in general letting popular opinion take over the schools? (e.g. LGBTQ, gender identity, etc.).
Follow-up question: President Biden declared March 31 “Transgender Day”. How should we respond?
Starting at Video Track 35:45      |     Q. answered by JB Nicholson

14a Present War in Israel.
Follow-up question: How should we respond when asked about the Israel-Palestine (Hamas) war? How should we distinguish between those who are the children of Abraham and the children of the devil?
Starting at Video Track 46.34       |      Q. answered by JB Nicholson

Doctrine of the Rapture
15. Indeed a blessing to those who are discussing these things that matter in the book of Revelation.     At the introductory meeting, bro Dunlap had mentioned about a ‘concept that was talked about during the 1st century AD’ (as it pertains to doctrine) but then disappeared and then reappeared in the 18th century. Can I please know what he was referring to?
Starting at Video Track 51:30   |   Q. answered by David Dunlap

Revelation 7 in relation to the Rapture
16. In Rev. 7 :14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. John talks about the presence of multitudes of people worshipping God before the throne from every tongue, tribe and nation. And when asked who these people were, the angel replied it was the people who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb. Question: How does this apply to the idea that believers will not face the great tribulation as per the Pre tribulation rapture doctrine, using a purely exegetical application?
